A deer feeder timer, from circuit board to online store

Wildlife Depot sells Wildtime automatic deer feeder timers, designed and built in Texas and sold to hunters and landowners across the country.

The product

We designed the timer's electronics and wrote its firmware:

• Works on both 6 volt and 12 volt feeder systems
• A solid-state relay to drive the feeder motor
• A battery voltage display, so owners know when to change batteries
• A lithium backup battery that keeps the schedule through battery changes
• Up to 6 programmable feeding times a day

The store

We built wildlifedepot.net as a Shopify store with a product catalog, search, customer accounts, cart and checkout, a newsletter signup, and shipping, refund and contact pages. We also wrote the product copy and set the store up to be found in search.

The result

One small team took the product from schematic to shipping: hardware, firmware and the store that sells it.
